2022 Emerging Liver Programs

Emerging Liver Scholars

Emerging Liver Advanced Practice Provider Program

Emerging Liver Scholars

Now in its eleventh year, AASLD Foundation's Emerging Liver Scholars program will host 35 young physicians at The Liver Meeting® 2022.

Chosen from a highly qualified applicant pool of individuals, these trainees have received grants covering travel, housing, and meeting expenses. In addition to attending the meeting with an AASLD member/mentor from their institution, the ELS attendees will have the opportunity to attend special events specifically suited to their current and future academic needs.

AASLD and AASLD Foundation dedicate the 2022 class of Emerging Liver Scholars in memory of the late Membership & Mentorship Committee Chair, Dr. Vinay Sundaram. Dr. Sundaram’s passion for supporting the next generation of hepatology leaders uplifted not only those who he personally mentored, but also countless others through the programs and opportunities he championed.
