As a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, the AASLD Foundation relies on generous donations to help us support researchers and fuel the pipeline of Liver Disease professionals. With the support of Liver Leaders like you - 100% of gifts received go directly into the field to support hepatology research and to support the people who study and treat liver disease.

READY TO MAKE A BEQUEST?
The easiest way to leave a legacy in support of liver research is through a bequest in your estate plans. Just a few sentences in your will or trust are all that is needed. Share the sample bequest language below for the AASLD Foundation with your estate planning attorney to help secure the future of hepatology.
- Sample Bequest Language
"I give, devise and bequeath to American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) Foundation (Tax ID# 46-4495751):
a. the sum of __________ dollars ($_____ ) Or b. _____ percent ( %) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to be used for its unrestricted purpose."
In addition, you can establish a Planned Gift to the AASLD Foundation by:
- Remember AASLD Foundation in your Will or Living Trust
- Name AASLD Foundation as a beneficiary of a retirement account, life insurance policy, bank or brokerage account
- Make a gift to AASLD Foundation directly from your IRA (only applicable for people at least 70 1⁄2 years old)
- Establish a gift that pays you income AND ultimately benefits AASLD Foundation, like a Charitable Remainder Trust
