Since 2000, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) Foundation (initially through AASLD) has invested more than $59 million to advance innovative hepatology research and support the people who study and treat liver disease through our Research and Career Development Awards program.

Review RFAs for current AASLD Foundation funding opportunities below. Applications must be submitted electronically at www.liverresearchawards.org and are due at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the specified deadline.
NOTICE OF SPECIAL INTEREST:
Additional dedicated funding to advance research activities in autoimmune hepatitis is available for the 2024 Awards cycle. Applications in autoimmune hepatitis are encouraged in all early to mid-career research award categories and the Pilot and Autoimmune Exploratory Research Award categories.
